Hotel Caruso – Ravello – Amalfi Coast

Location
The luxury five star hotel Caruso is located in Ravello, a village on the highest point of the Amalfi Coast. From here the view is spectacular, overlooking the sea and one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. The idyllic village Ravello has been built around the cathedral (dates from the 11th century) and already between the 11th and 12th centuries it was an important commercial (business) centre. Ravello it’s known for the majestic villas as well the flowering gardens.

Hotel
Recently renovated and restored to its former glory, the Hotel Caruso is perched on the hills of the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Since ever the Hotel Caruso hosted several famous personalities for example Gina Lollobrigida, Jacqueline Kennedy, Humphrey Bogart and a lot more… it is an absolutely oasis of peace and quietness.

Restaurant & Bar
In terms of catering, Caruso Hotel offers several alternatives, ranging from the traditional Neapolitan cuisine to the regional specialties. Guests can enjoy a magnificent view from the terrace of Belvedere restaurant, or opt for the refined restaurant Caruso. A third alternative could be a light meal at the poolside Bar. Guests can complete the evening at the piano bar, located in a hall with frescoes of the eighteenth century, where every night they can listen to live music.

Rooms
The 48 rooms of Hotel Caruso, spacious and elegant, are finely furnished; most of them have a terrace with sea view and some have a private garden. They are divided into different types: 24 double rooms, 6 suites and 18 junior suites. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, mini bar, satellite TV, VCR, CD player with DVD, Wi-Fi.

Wellness Centre
The Wellness Center offers to all guests of Caruso Hotel the opportunity to relax with a traditional massage, aromatherapy, a shiatsu treatment or reflexology session.

Services & Activities
For relaxing moments the Hotel Caruso offers the infinity pool, the panoramic heated pool from where the unforgettable view on the Amalfi coast can be enjoyed. Sport lovers have several possibilities, keep fit in the panoramic gym equipped with stepper, exercise bikes, treadmills and weight machine or play golf at the nearby golf courses – Volturno Golf and Golf Club Salerno – as well play tennis (15 minutes walk from the golf course Ravello). Moreover an  excursion on the sea with the private boat of the Hotel Caruso can be organized or a sight seeing tour of Amalfi and Positano, thanks to the shuttle service offered by the Hotel.
