Location
Villa Maria Hotel is located in the historic town centre between the Clarisse nunnery and S. Francis Convent, in a peaceful and wealthy area. The hotel is 80 km far from Napoli airport.
Villa Maria
This ancient villa used to belong to the roman nobleman Marquis de Cinque family. The building, while preserving the elegant motifs of a lordly mansion, has undergone noteworthy redecorations over the years which have contributed to its extreme beauty. In all of the premises, halls, staircases and public areas, it is still possible to admire the antique marble floors. In the bathrooms it is possible to relax in the shower or in the whirlpool bath. The attention to details at Villa Maria hotel is evident in the high-quality furniture which was the most suitable to meet the needs of the noblemen who used to live here; liberty and art deco style, Murano glass chandeliers.
Bedrooms and bathrooms are enriched with the hand-painted majolica tiles of the Vietrese artisans. Villa Maria has 23 double rooms in total and a Junior Suite. All rooms at Villa Maria are very charming and have a bathroom equipped with shower or whirlpool bath-tub; superior rooms and the Junior Suite have both shower and bath-tub, as well as a nice terrace or balcony with sea view.
In each room there is at least one satellite TV (in some rooms there are two, of which one can be watched from the bed and the other one is in the living room).
Standard depending on its structure, the room may offer 2 TVs, of which one can be watched from the bed.
Superior these rooms are bigger than standard rooms and more comfortable, they are all equipped with 2 TVs and have both a shower and a bath.
Junior-Suite this room is bigger and more comfortable than the Superior room and has both whirpool bath and shower.
Restaurant
To prepare theit tasty dishes, chefs at Villa Maria mainly use biological products. In fact, Villa Maria is surrounded by wonderful terraced gardens where every morning farmers harvest biological products (fertilized with humus from the mountains in the surroundings). Guests at Villa Maria are welcome to walk through the gardens and also visit the cave chapel at the end of the gardens, where farmers used to stop and pray during their break from work.
